Policy on beards

Defensive Tactics - Appeal for Information

does the organization and hence the governing body only engage in defensive tactics against those that are critical of its policies and teachings?.

kevin mcfree, creator of j’dub town, was pursued by organization legally with a tenacity which if applied to the child sexual abusers within the organization would see those unsavoury people leaving the organization in a rush, instead of being able to hide and continue their harm.. the organization’s offensive tactics against kevin lasted for nearly 4 years from 2018 – 2022 as they tried to get a legal ruling to reveal his real identity.. does the organization engage in other offensive tactics, though these may not be so publicly known?.

Hi Sea Breeze - an elder told me that Armageddon was like a Polo mint. It had a hole in it. It started in 1914, then it stopped to let the Great Crowd out. It'll start again but they have no idea when - except of course 1975 - but that went belly up for them. Normal for them, though.

Janusfulcrum - my guess - maybe the cylindrical thing is supposed to be a model of the Temple in Jerusalem. Given they used to have the Knight's Templar Cross and Crown on the mags, perhaps its a subliminal message telling you they are really Knight's Templars. And the fancy dress is telling you they are all actors.

An elder surprised me once by saying we were already in the 1000 year reign of Christ. I did put it to him that Satan hadn't been abyssed yet. That stumped him. But likely he stuck to his view. If so, by his logic the first resurrection has taken place.

He's very, very old now. Sadly I expect he'll die soon - it'll be his first time but if he's in the 1000 year reign it'll be his second. I'm going to look out for him on the trollies and see if he can clarify the matter.

Memory Lane and Brooklyn Bethel

i spent monday walking down memory lane.

i went to the old brooklyn bethel.

the old towers hotel, were i roomed for 3 years is now a care facility for old folks.

New Boy - I remember reading your account of James Olson. It was very sad. How many of these suicides would never have happened if people's trust in Jesus Christ had not been destroyed by this lying organization?

About the time I was reading your book, I had a conversation with a man who studied but never became a JW. He told me how devastated he was to hear of the suicide of a young wife. The reason he was devastated was because of the look that he had once seen in her eyes.

She was married to a cruel 'brother' who was being groomed to be an elder. Therefore the elders protected him. But the wife was going to the elders asking for support in her difficult situation. She was not allowed to speak about what she was enduring. But the man who was studying could see what was happening to her. She was being treated really, really badly.

One day it was as if she was urgently trying to speak to him just using her eyes. Her eyes were saying to him 'these people are mad.'

At that time he was confused and just did not know how to help her. He left off his study but he never forgot her and he cannot forget her face. Later he found out she had committed suicide. He feels she killed herself because she was completely messed up being gaslighted and lied to.

That's nice - it benefits those who are sensitive to bright lights.

Perhaps they'll come out with the new improved Rothko Mode. A completely blank screen to match a completely blank face staring at it.
